Academic & Event Technology Services (AETS) is part of the Academic and Curriculum Support. Our mission is to provide exemplary leadership and services aimed at the evaluation, development, implementation and use of state of the art instructional and research technology and applications as well as specialized technology and support of University sponsored Special Events that foster the exemplary education, and outreach interests and goals of Florida Gulf Coast University.

Equipment Loans and Special Events

(note - charges may be applied for Special Event equipment requests.)
The Microsoft Office suite of products is installed on every classroom, lab, and faculty office computer.
However, many other software titles are available for use in course instruction.

Video editing stations and associated software are located in the Mac Lab – Reed Hall Room 256.
Assistance in using the equipment and software is provided by AET staff.
This service is available by reservation only to both faculty and students for course-related projects.
